We are currently seeking a Logistics Manager to join our team and oversee the optimization of logistics, clearance, transportation, and export operations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the full order cycle, coordinating with stakeholders, and implementing best practices to enhance operational and financial performance. As a Logistics Manager, you will negotiate contracts, resolve logistics issues, and ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental policies. Additionally, you will lead and develop a high-performing team while preparing annual budgets and monthly performance reports to drive efficiency and continuous improvement.
Responsibilities:
- Strategically plan and manage logistics, clearance, transportation, and export operations.
- Directly optimize and coordinate the full order cycle.
- Plan, manage, and evaluate logistics operations by liaising with internal stakeholders, suppliers, logistics providers, transportation companies, and customers.
- Create and implement best practice logistics principles, policies, and processes across the organization to improve operational and financial performance.
- Deliver solutions to logistics problems while maintaining high-quality service within budgetary requirements.
- Negotiate rates and contracts with transportation and logistics service providers.
- Resolve problems concerning transportation systems or import/export issues.
- Manage a high-performing team through coaching and development to meet objectives effectively.
