Reporting directly to the VP of Manufacturing, the Plant Director will oversee all aspects of King’s Hawaiian Indiana operations with a focus on driving operational success through strategic planning. Responsibilities include managing manufacturing productivity & efficiencies, maintenance, regulatory compliance, food safety, quality control, warehousing & distribution, employee relations, and health & safety at our Taylorsville facility. The ideal candidate will provide leadership in achieving performance standards related to safety, quality, cost efficiency, and line efficiency while building a motivated organization centered on process improvement and product quality.

The successful candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in engineering or business-related field along with 8+ years’ experience in manufacturing (preferably food or CPG) and 5-7 years’ management experience leading cross-functional teams. Strong understanding of operations management tools like Lean Six Sigma is essential for driving continuous process improvement. Effective problem-solving skills, strategic thinking abilities, excellent communication skills at all organizational levels are required. Knowledge of regulatory requirements including FDA and OSHA is crucial for ensuring operational compliance. Proficiency in Microsoft Suite applications is necessary along with additional qualifications such as SAP S/4HANA knowledge and proficiency in Continuous Improvements tools.

Key Job Requirements:
  • 8+ years' experience in manufacturing
