We are currently seeking a dynamic VP, Engineering who is technology-driven and performance-focused to lead our Energy Data Platform engineering team. This pivotal role involves overseeing the software stack, development process, architecture, and engineering team & culture. The ideal candidate will have experience transforming engineering organizations in fast-growth B2B industries such as healthcare, energy, manufacturing/supply chain, or telecom. Reporting directly to the Head of Product & Engineering, this role will lead a talented 100+-person engineering department across the US and India while being based in the United States.
As VP, Engineering at Arcadia, you will mentor engineering leads to meet deadlines and quality standards while fostering a progressive engineering culture centered on performance and innovation. You will collaborate with executive leaders to drive company strategy and product roadmaps while ensuring all new products are delivered across current and future platforms. Additionally, you will strategically introduce new technologies & software development practices like AI and build a team of mission-driven engineers committed to achieving technical excellence.
To succeed in this role, candidates must possess prior experience leading large engineering teams in complex industries like healthcare or manufacturing/supply chain. Strong technical acumen is essential along with decisive decision-making skills when balancing functionality, quality, and technical debt considerations. Excellent communication skills are required for effective collaboration with technical stakeholders as well as non-technical team members. A passion for sustainability and driving a clean-energy future is crucial for this position.
