HyperStrong, a leading renewable energy company in the United States, is seeking a dynamic Sr. Director/Director of Business Development for North America to spearhead the deployment of Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) integrated solutions in the utility-scale energy storage market. This pivotal role will drive the growth of a newly established division within our organization by fostering robust relationships with external and internal stakeholders, including suppliers and customers, to strategically expand our business operations.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for analyzing customer needs, market trends, and organizational inputs to align product strategy and roadmap within the energy storage market segment. By engaging with prominent energy storage developers in the U.S., they will ensure that our product and service offerings deliver maximum value to their portfolios. Crafting comprehensive proposals in response to customer tender requirements and exploring new market segments for potential expansion are also key responsibilities of this role.

Collaboration is essential as the Sr. Director/Director of Business Development will work closely with internal development and delivery teams, as well as external suppliers, to maintain product consistency and meet schedule expectations. They will participate in product design reviews to assess quality, develop post-service strategies with service partners for ongoing customer satisfaction, and manage product launches alongside field marketing and sales teams. Strong interpersonal skills, decision-making abilities, financial acumen, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills are crucial for success in this position.

If you have 10 years of experience in the energy sector (BESS experience preferred), a proven track record in business development within energy or renewable sectors, and are adept at navigating customer procurement processes—this role may be an excellent fit for you.
