Walker Lovell, a prominent player in the clean energy sector, is currently looking to fill the position of Engineering Manager at their state-of-the-art facility in Nederland, TX. We are dedicated to spearheading asset optimization, reliability strategy, and mechanical integrity program development to ensure operational excellence and regulatory compliance in a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment.

As an Engineering Manager with Walker Lovell, you will have the opportunity to play a key role in developing a world-class mechanical integrity and reliability program for our greenfield operation. You will lead a team of 6-7 direct reports (potentially up to 9) and around 20 indirect reports, influencing long-term success while maintaining a healthy work-life balance with this full-time on-site role in Beaumont, TX.

Key responsibilities for this role include developing and driving an effective asset integrity and reliability strategy for the site, leading the implementation of a comprehensive MI program in a PSM-governed environment, actively engaging in on-site plant operations overseeing static equipment, rotating machinery, electrical systems, and QA/QC programs. Additionally, you will be responsible for enhancing safety, energy efficiency, and plant productivity through strategic initiatives while leading a high-performing engineering team to ensure industry best practices and alignment with operational goals.

The ideal candidate for this position will have at least 10 years of experience in engineering management within chemical or refining industries. A Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering (Chemical or related fields will be considered). Strong expertise in static equipment, rotating machinery, and MI compliance is required. We are looking for a practical hands-on leader who has experience from companies with strong MI programs.
