We are currently looking for a highly skilled Director of Electrical Engineering to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for developing conceptual designs for natural gas-fired power plants with renewable technology integrations such as solar and battery energy storage systems. You will also create detailed engineering plans, prepare accurate cost estimates, produce technical documentation, support sales teams with client interactions, manage project risks, stay updated on industry trends, and collaborate with stakeholders to ensure project success.

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field and significant experience in power plant engineering and design. Proficiency in tools like AutoCAD and Microsoft Excel is required, along with knowledge of relevant codes and standards such as ASME, IEEE, and NEC. Strong analytical skills, problem-solving abilities, teamwork capabilities, and the flexibility to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment are essential for success in this role. Occasional travel on short notice may be necessary.

If you have experience with electric utility integration or retail energy operations and hold a Professional Engineering (PE) license or eligibility, it would be considered a strong advantage.
