We are currently looking for a dynamic and results-driven Regional Director of Engineering in Columbus, OH to lead our regional engineering team. In this key leadership role, you will be responsible for overseeing the financial success of the office, managing all personnel, and ensuring that client expectations are met with excellence. You will lead a diverse team comprising engineering professionals from various disciplines such as Integrity, Mechanical, Electrical, Civil, Structural, Process, as well as design/drafting and project management experts.
As the Regional Director of Engineering, your responsibilities will include leading and managing the team to successfully execute projects and programs for regional clients. You will oversee office financial performance by preparing regular reports on activities and progress towards goals. Additionally, you will direct local safety and quality programs to ensure adherence to regulations and company policies. Managing client relationships, contracts, ongoing projects, identifying new business opportunities for regional growth will also be part of your role.
To qualify for this position, you must have a Bachelor's degree in Engineering or similar technical fields along with at least 8 years of experience in utility-related projects. A minimum of 4 years in project management roles for gas utilities or similar EPC firms supporting natural gas clients is required. Registration as a Professional Engineer (PE) and/or PMP certification is preferred. Strong problem-solving abilities, excellent communication skills (both written and verbal), organizational skills, time management capabilities are essential for success in this role.
