As a Financial Controller at Anantara Hotels & Resorts in the United Arab Emirates, you will play a crucial role in leading the hotel's financial strategy and operational performance. Your responsibilities will include financial reporting, internal controls optimization, team management and development, capital expenditure review, and establishing productive relationships with third parties in the region. Working closely with the Hotel General Manager, cross-functional Executive Team, and Corporate Office, you will set up and drive the performance of the hotel.

To qualify for this role, you must possess a degree in Finance, Accounting or a related field along with a professional accounting qualification. Additionally, you should have a minimum of 5 years of managerial experience demonstrating a track record of driving hotel finance performance. Strong technical accounting, finance, and taxation skills are essential as well as experience in preparing, reviewing analyzing and presenting management and statutory reports. Knowledge of hotel internal controls and budget processes is required along with team management capabilities to meet tight deadlines and coach team members effectively. Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English are necessary for this position.

If you have rebranding/pre-opening experience or have set up and managed a cluster finance operation before, it would be considered an advantage. Proficiency in computer systems implementation along with knowledge of Sun, Opera & Micros systems is preferred for this role.
