**About the Role**
As the Parts Supply and Logistics Director for Middle East (ME) and Direct Markets, you will play a crucial role in overseeing operations related to depot management, transportation, supply chain management, new model launches, and distributor relationships. This position requires a strategic leader who can implement regional strategies while ensuring compliance with local laws and safety standards. You will manage export requirements, maintain strong 3PL relations, and support service parts needs for Direct Market distributors.
**Responsibilities**
Your responsibilities will include operational leadership by ensuring efficiency in depot management, transportation, and supply chain activities. You will develop and implement ME strategies aligned with corporate goals while managing export requirements to affiliates and direct distributors. Financial oversight is key as you collaborate on budgets and business plans with PS&L Finance. Additionally, you will lead team development efforts while monitoring metrics related to safety, inventory, fill rates, backorders, warehouse operations, and more.
Qualifications:
- Educational Background: Bachelor's degree in supply chain management or related field; advanced degree beneficial.
- Professional Experience: 5-10 years in parts supply logistics; automotive industry experience preferred.
- Leadership Experience: Proven track record of team leadership within logistics or supply chain context.
- Certifications: Relevant certifications such as CSCP or CPIM are advantageous.
- Technical Proficiency: Strong computer skills including ERP systems.
- Cultural Competence: Experience working in multicultural environments.
- Compliance Knowledge: Familiarity with regulations related to logistics.
- Financial Skills: Budget management experience required.
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
- Problem-Solving Skills: Strong analytical skills for data-driven decision-making.
