Transguard Workforce Solutions is a prominent provider of HR solutions in the UAE, offering fully integrated services with over a decade of experience. We are currently looking for a Finance Analyst to join one of our esteemed government clients based in Dubai.

As a Finance Analyst, you will be responsible for preparing and analyzing the company's financial accounting and reporting requirements while maintaining books of accounts on Oracle Financials with minimal supervision. You will provide essential support to the Finance Manager and other departments in maintaining unified controls, governance, and relevant accounting standards across all business issues.

Your duties will include maintaining books of accounts to ensure timely closure and submission of monthly accounts, tracking key expenditure accounts for analysis, producing ad-hoc reports as required by management or departments, coordinating with Group Financial Services on specific transactions, preparing GL schedules periodically, reviewing month-end closing reports, analyzing financials and operations to present data in graphical form, among others.

Furthermore, you will be involved in dealing with various auditors (external, internal, and government) to resolve queries raised on financial aspects. You will also highlight instances of non-conformities to control frameworks for resolution, assist in budget monitoring against actuals by endorsing PRs and identifying overruns. Additionally, you will manage short-term cash flows/fund requirements ensuring the availability of adequate funds without maintaining idle funds.

In terms of strategy planning and budgeting, you will assist in coordinating the Strategy Management Process, business planning process, developing strategic objectives for budgets/plans incorporating assumptions specific to business units. Moreover, you will support the development of Business Units BSC agreements by providing actual and budgeted data for suggested KPIs and maintain reports based on current performance against plan.
