Finance Manager

As the Finance Manager at Venture Search, you will play a crucial role in managing and overseeing all aspects of the company's financial operations. Working closely with senior management, you will be responsible for day-to-day financial management, audit and tax compliance, corporate and transfer pricing, banking relations, financial reporting, strategic advice provision, and risk management. A strong background in auditing, tax (including corporate and transfer pricing), banking relations, and financial controls is essential for this role.

Your key responsibilities will include overseeing day-to-day accounting functions such as general ledger maintenance, accounts payable/receivable management, and month-end close processes. You will ensure compliance with local and international accounting standards while managing internal and external audits as well as tax filings. Additionally, you will manage banking relationships by negotiating credit facilities, overseeing banking transactions, and maintaining liquidity levels.

To excel in this role at Venture Search, you should have 8-10 years of experience in finance with expertise in auditing, tax compliance (including corporate tax), transfer pricing policies/procedures adherence, and banking relations management. Candidates from dry bulk trading firms are preferred due to the specialized knowledge required for success in this position.
