As the Strategic Finance Manager, you will lead the Strategic Planning function for Careem Groceries Business in Saudi Arabia. Your key responsibilities will include formulating short, medium, and long-term financial and strategic plans in collaboration with business leadership teams. You will be responsible for maximizing ROI on spends while achieving growth objectives by monitoring performance, analyzing drivers of performance, and identifying opportunities and risks. Additionally, you will independently prepare financial models for budgeting/forecasting/investment analysis and actively participate in ad-hoc projects across different departments within Careem.
The ideal candidate for this role should have a background in Business Administration, Finance or Engineering with at least 7 years of experience creating financial reports and analyzing results to provide strategic guidance. Strong financial modeling skills are essential along with experience in budgeting & forecasting. Excellent analytical skills, written and verbal communication skills are required as well as proven stakeholder management abilities. A background in fast-paced entrepreneurial environments would be advantageous.
