Our client, a leading business professional in the manufacturing industry, is currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Technical Assurance Manager to join their team. This role will be based in Whitestown, IN 46075, and will involve overseeing various capital and process improvement projects to enhance equipment efficiency, reduce costs, and drive overall effectiveness. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in coordinating resources, troubleshooting equipment issues, and ensuring compliance with safety standards.
As the Technical Assurance Manager, you will be responsible for developing and planning projects from start to finish, including budgeting, timeline management, and ROI analysis. You will collaborate with internal teams and external contractors to streamline activities and enhance equipment efficiencies on the plant floor. Additionally, you will work closely with the Maintenance Manager to ensure safe operating practices are followed while identifying opportunities for training needs and compliance improvements.
The ideal candidate for this position should have at least 5 years of electrical or mechanical experience, with expertise in Allen Bradley PLC controls such as ControlLogix, SLC, PLC5, PanelView, and PanelView Plus. Strong leadership skills are essential for this role, along with excellent communication abilities and proficiency in SAP. A Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering is preferred but not required if equivalent experience is demonstrated. Experience working in a lean manufacturing environment and managing project teams will be advantageous.
