The Certified Collectibles Group (CCG) has announced that it will open an office in Dubai in 2024. The new office will make it easier for collectors and dealers in the UAE and the surrounding region to submit to NGC, PMG and CGC.
Collectibles submitted to CCG’s Dubai office will be transported with full insurance coverage (based on the submitter’s declared value) to CCG Headquarters for authentication, grading and encapsulation. The collectibles will then be transported back to the Dubai office (again with full insurance coverage) to be returned to the submitter.
We are seeking a Director of Business Development for our new location. In this exciting new position you will:
Be an ambassador for the company in Dubai and the broader region
Identify major market participants and connect with and support collectors and dealers throughout the region
Advise and support our marketing team
Represent the company at regional trade shows
Provide on-the-ground support for our operations team, including supervising the selection and remodel of an office as well as the purchasing and delivery of furniture and equipment
Assist the HR team in identifying and interviewing local candidates
Advise and inform the senior leadership team about the office, the local market, risks and opportunities
To be successful in this role it would help if you have:
A passion for collectibles
Full-time professional experience at a collectibles company
Knowledge of and appreciation for the local culture
Knowledge of the collectibles market in the UAE and the broader region
Proficiency in English and Arabic
Excellent written and verbal communication, interpersonal and leadership skills
A willingness to travel
Qualified candidates must be reside in Dubai and be willing to work in-person at an office.
