Director of Engineering & Maintenance - up to $160k + 20% bonus

Our client, a prominent manufacturer of pharmaceutical and consumer products, is seeking a Director of Engineering & Maintenance to join their dynamic team in the United States. As a key player in the industry, our client prides itself on innovation, quality, and efficiency in all aspects of their operations. The successful candidate will report directly to the site General Manager and oversee all engineering services related to manufacturing, packaging, and facilities maintenance.

In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for providing strategic support by planning capital expenditures to maximize Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE). You will ensure that equipment and buildings are maintained in compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), establish preventative maintenance programs for utilities and equipment, manage budgets effectively, and set performance Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for the team. Your expertise in project management will be crucial as you lead initiatives to drive operational excellence within the organization.

The ideal candidate for this position will possess a Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field, along with over 15 years of experience in industries such as Pharma, Consumer goods, or similar sectors. Your extensive background in project management will enable you to excel in this role and drive continuous improvement across all engineering and maintenance functions. In return for your contributions, we offer a competitive base salary of up to $160,000 plus bonus potential.
